Design Only or Design/Build

 ASE regularly performs projects on either a “Design Only” or a “Design/Build” (or turnkey) basis to meet the needs of our customers.  With the Design Only approach, the customer has an active role in definition of concepts and in construction management. With the Design/Build approach, the customer relies on ASE to perform these functions and assume total responsibility for meeting the project requirements.

Complete Wind Tunnel Facilities

ASE designs and supplies complete wind tunnel facilities to meet customer requirements in all speed regimes. We have more than 50 years experience with Design / Build and Design Only projects worldwide.

Engineering Support

ASE provides Engineering Support services to provide wind tunnel facilities modifications and operation/maintenance support.

ASE is presently providing Engineering Support at the NASA Glenn Research Center (GRC) for operation and maintenance support of facility controls and electrical systems.  

ASE’s engineering support capabilities for wind tunnel facilities covers a wide range of engineering disciplines including: aerodynamics, acoustics, fluids engineering, mechanical enginerring, thermodynamics, automation, control systems, and instrumentation.  ASE is prepared to support your facility with the engineering expertise that we have developed over many years of design, installation, commissioning and operation of wind tunnels and test cells.
