Wind tunnels rely on various auxiliary systems to support the various wind tunnel components and/or to condition or process the test gas (e.g., clean, dry, pressurize, heat, or cool) delivered to the tunnel or the model. Typical equipment for these process systems include Compressors, Hydraulic Systems, Vacuum Pumps, Dryers, Heat Exchangers, Cooling Towers, and Chillers.

ASE regularly designs and provides such equipment for facilities in  many parts of the world.  To assure that a wind tunnel achieves the desired performance, it is critical that all process equipment be integrated into a COMPLETE SYSTEM - it is not enough to just select hardware from catalogs. ASE has the total capability needed to analyze and understand the overall system behavior and to define the requirements for instrumentation control elements that integrate the required equipment into a functional system.
