Primary Support will be provided from ASE head office in St. Paul, USA, or ASE Service Centers in Singapore and Brussels, Belgium (in early 2001), by highly qualified engineers and technicians. A purchase order will be required for each request for Field Service.
Field Service allows for assistance upon request when the need arises. This may be necessary when malfunctions occur or when any other type of unplanned assistance is required. Troubleshooting assistance/directions and calibration, with assistance of the customers test cell/QA personnel, are typical functions during any Field Service visit by ASE.
Note: Formal customer training is normally not part of Field Service. However, ASE Field Service personnel are knowledgeable about our systems and are always available to provide recommendations and direction for maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration and system operation.
