The companies who develop engines for aircraft propulsion continue to improve the thrust, efficiency, acoustics, and weight of their products. The installed performance
of the total propulsion system is determined by the inlets, mixers, pylons, thrust reversers, and exhaust nozzles which are installed on the basic engine. Model tests of these components have been a very important part of the development
and performance evaluation of the total propulsion system for many years. We have been conducting such tests in our test facilities since 1953. We continue to invest in improvements in
productivity, facility performance, flow uniformity, data accuracy and staff skills to meet the demanding requirements of our engine and aircraft customers.
Aerodynamic
We have conducted Aerodynamic Tests on a wide range of models and test articles.
Our Test Facilities cover the range from subsonic through hypersonic.
Unsteady Processes
These include turbulence, noise, vibration, and unsteady aerodynamics.
Acoustic
A variety of acoustic tests are conducted in our test laboratory and at customer
sites using high quality calibrated microphones and portable data acquisition equipment.
