Our fabrication services are often utilized in the manufacture of custom-built, precision aerodynamics models, instrumentation and test facility components. We have built models, components, and instrumentation for testing in subsonic to hypersonic flows with temperatures ranging from cryogenic to 4000°F.

In addition to ASE’s extensive in-house expertise, the fabrication shop out sources to quality sub-contractors for the following services:

• Certified welding
• Furnace brazing
• Electron beam welding

• Rapid prototyping (SLA, SLS, DMLS)

We are experienced in building:

• Axisymmetric, asymmetric, and 2D models of aircraft engine inlets and nozzles
• Subscale sound suppressing mixer nozzles
• Complicated 3-dimensional, vectoring, and compliance models
• Thrust reverser models, including cascade panels
• Airfoils
• Custom designed pressure and temperature measurement probes

We have built models with over one hundred-fifty (150) thermocouples and four hundred (400) pressure taps.
