Acoustics, vibration, turbulence and other unsteady signals are all considered  dynamic data. Processing and analysis require special acquisition equipment and sophisticated software algorithms to analyze data and produce accurate results.

Data are acquired using high speed a/d conversion with appropriate processing to amplify, filter and condition the incoming signal. Multiple channel data are acquired using sample and hold buffers to ensure that data are syncronized across all channels for subsequent array processing.
